Extreme Kicks Attack

I have seen many good fighters with speed but lose the match due to lacks of skill. Skill, strategy and technique are vital to impress the judges as they are humans. The judges is one thing but I will not going to talk on how to tackle the judges in this posting. Maybe next time I will post just a topic about the referee.

Anyway for this posting, I like to share the importance of aligning and combining a good strategy and skill to win against your opponent. First of all, if you are only good at certain technique, then you are certainly going to lose to opponent who has multiple techniques. For example, you are playing defensive and using a pull back counter attack. One or twice you may counter if the opponent keep on attacking using turning or double kicks. The chance of meeting highly skill opponent is unavoidable as advancing to final. The opponent can read your counter attack easily and starts changing the attacking techniques such as using 360 which is cannot be countered with even speedy pull back kick.

Chopping kick is another effective attacking technique to be used against a good opponent with limited counter attack skill. This deadly chopping kick is very effective to be used against opponent who is very good with their hands blocking your attack against their body. However, this type of fighter always left their top or head unguarded which is very vulnerable to chopping or tracing kicks technique. Another unexpected attack which hard to counter is check-backthrust. However, the opponent must be really good with speed to use this sort of technique. This attack is normally launch from a long distance as to pick up the momentum.

Next posting I will share on how to counter attack of the above extreme kicks attack.
